[Blender]Seam and UV development.
It’s been a completely long time since I’ve written an article about Blender, but I haven’t even messed with it recently. (… I’ve not even been playing with Blender lately;
I’m not very good at graphics, so I’m having a hard time learning it, but I’d like to write this article just as a memo.
The first time I did UV development with the default monkey,
Select “Expand” with U key.
Is this for real? I can make out the eyes, but the face is completely messed up.
Of course, there is no way anyone would color the face in such a state.
Apparently, it is possible to add a seam to the image so that you can easily identify which part is which when you expand the UV image. Ctrl+E to select “Add Seam”.
I added seams to the face and ear parts, and here they are
